Biography is a sketch of my life and adventures as a mountaineer.

Portfolio is divided into the regions where I have done most of my work since 1979. Clicking on a photo takes you to a larger photo and text description.

There is no section for print sales as I do not sell my work commercially--I only make one print of each photograph and each of these is represented by Craig Krull Gallery in Santa Monica, California. Craig can be reached at 310-828-6410.

Video Journal formally known as Nevahbe contains artist profiles, interviews and documentaries of my work. I enjoy showing the sights and sounds of the places I go to, and the video creates a background for my photographic explorations.

News describes where and what I plan on photographing in the future. For the past 28 years I have worked in the Sierra Nevada, with side explorations to Nepal, the American Great Basin and some time in the American Southwest. For the past 3 years I have been river-running and trekking in the Brooks Ridge of Alaska. The Arctic light has captured my imagination, and I plan to continue to explore in the high Arctic.
